Chief Executive Officer - Robert M. Calderoni

Robert M. Calderoni is chief executive officer of Ariba, Inc., the leading provider of collaborative business commerce solutions. Since joining the company in 2000, Mr. Calderoni has successfully transformed Ariba from a narrowly focused procurement application vendor to a comprehensive business commerce network and solutions provider that simplifies and improves buying, selling, and cash management for companies of all sizes in all regions of the world.
Under Mr. Calderoni's leadership, Ariba has led the way in delivering innovative solutions that combine cloud-based technology; the world's largest, web-based, business-to-business trading network; and advanced capabilities in the form of expertise, best practices, and business intelligence to help companies improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their procurement, sales and marketing, and financial operations. As pioneer of first e-procurement, then spend management, and now, collaborative business commerce, Ariba has continued to lead the market in delivering technology solutions to drive new levels of productivity. With more than 20 years of experience as a Fortune 500 financial and operations executive, Mr. Calderoni has intimate knowledge of change management and a deep understanding of how technology can optimize a corporation's spending, sales, and financial performance. Prior to joining Ariba, Mr. Calderoni served as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer for Avery Dennison. Before joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Calderoni served as senior vice president of finance and corporate controller for Apple Computer, Inc., and as chief financial officer and vice president of finance for IBM's $8 billion Storage Systems division. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Company. Mr. Calderoni has been named among the 100 Most Influential People in Finance by Treasury & Risk Management Magazine and one of the Top Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine.
Mr. Calderoni is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of science degree from Fordham University. He is also a member of the boards of Juniper Networks and KLA Tencor.

President - Kevin Costello

Kevin Costello is president of Ariba, Inc. In his role, he has executed the strategy and vision that has transformed Ariba into the leading global provider of cloud computing and commerce management solutions. Mr. Costello is charged with directing all of Ariba's integrated global commercial units including sales, marketing, professional services, channels and the Ariba Network. He is regarded in the market as a leader in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) space with a focus on providing solutions that deliver immediate benefit through network enabled capabilities. Mr. Costello brings over 25 years of consulting and advisory experience in helping companies improve their competitive position through the use of technology, strategy and services that deliver sustaining results.
Prior to joining Ariba, Mr. Costello served in multiple senior management positions during his 18-year tenure with Andersen Business Consulting. His role as a global managing partner included responsibility for supply chain, advanced technologies, and customer relationship management solutions.
Mr. Costello holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Illinois and is a certified public accountant.

Senior Vice President, Global Network Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer - Tim Minahan

Tim Minahan is senior vice president, global network strategy and chief marketing officer for Ariba. A pioneer in business-to-business collaboration, Mr. Minahan created the market for business networks and the vision for the Networked Economy — a world in which companies leverage the power of social and business networks and advanced analytics to enhance collaboration, insights, and productivity. In his role with Ariba, Mr. Minahan is responsible for the strategy behind the Ariba Network, the world’s largest and most global business network, and for the design and execution of effective messaging, go-to-market programs, and marketing initiatives to fuel its growth.
Mr. Minahan joined Ariba from Procuri, Inc., where he served as senior vice president of marketing and was a core member of the executive leadership team that shaped the strategic direction of the company’s emergence as one of the fastest-growing SaaS application providers.
Prior to joining Procuri, Mr. Minahan served as chief services officer at Aberdeen Group, where he advised the world’s largest supply chain and technology companies. Mr. Minahan began his career researching and writing on purchasing and technology issues, serving as senior editor of supply chain management for Purchasing magazine, editor for Electronics Purchasing, and a technology reporter for Government Computer News.
Mr. Minahan is a member of the International Association of Contract and Commercial Management’s (IACCM) Thought Leadership Council. He has thrice been named one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Industry Pros to Know. He has also received Supply Chain Technology News’ Top Industry Influencers Award.
Mr. Minahan holds a bachelor's degree from Boston College.

Senior Vice President, Global Customer Management - Michael J. Arenth

Michael Arenth joined Ariba in June 2002 and currently serves as senior vice president for global customer management. He has overall responsibility for the success of all customers using Ariba solutions and services, as well as responsibility for all existing revenue streams, including the revenue growth tied to network activity. This encompasses Ariba’s customer engagement, network growth, global services, technology implementation, and value engineering teams.
Mr. Arenth previously served as senior vice president and general manager of Ariba’s European operations, including sales and marketing; consulting; human resources; and finance and accounting. In 2006 while in Europe, Mr. Arenth also served as vice president of consulting for Ariba Europe. Prior to moving to Europe, Mr. Arenth was managing director of Ariba’s strategy team in North America.
Before joining Ariba, Mr. Arenth was a senior manager with Andersen Business Consulting where he advised firms on strategy, operations, and finance transformation initiatives across a variety of industries. Mr. Arenth earned a BA in economics from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA in finance from The George Washington School of Business and Public Management.

Executive Vice President - Charles Jackson

Charles Jackson serves as executive vice president for Ariba. He has overall global responsibility for the success of all customers using Ariba solutions and services. Mr. Jackson joined Ariba as part of the Quadrem International, Ltd. acquisition, bringing 30 years experience in business leadership and supply management systems to the company.
Prior to joining Ariba, Mr. Jackson held executive positions in accounting, finance, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, sales, and supply chain management within the technology, chemical, and accounting industries. These include chief executive officer of Quadrem International, a global, business-to-business, internet network solutions and services company. Prior to Quadrem, he spent 17 years in the chemical industry with Orica, ICI USA, ICI Canada, and Atlas Powder.
Mr. Jackson is a certified public accountant, with a BBA degree in accounting from Baylor University. Having served on a number of boards within the chemical industry, he currently serves on Baylor's Hankamer School of Business advisory board.

Senior Vice President, Solutions Management - Greg Spray

Gregory Spray is senior vice president of solutions management. In this role, he is responsible for the company's solutions strategy, roadmap, and plan.
Before joining Ariba, Mr. Spray served as a partner at Accenture, the global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company. During his time there, he was responsible for procurement business process outsourcing (BPO) services, offering strategy and managing a global team of sales architects. Mr. Spray also served as chief executive officer of procurement services provider Alliente, a business he successfully built and grew and which was sold in 2004 to Ariba.
Prior to Alliente, Mr. Spray worked for Hewlett-Packard Company in a variety of senior management roles including procurement, financial shared services, and information technology.
Mr. Spray received his BBA in information systems and quantitative analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer - Sanish Mondkar

Sanish Mondkar is the executive vice president and chief product officer for Ariba. He is responsible for all areas of Ariba products ranging from product strategy and delivery to hosting operations and customer support. His focus is bringing the next generation of product innovation and world-class operations to Ariba's customers.
Mr. Mondkar brings more than 15 years of experience in defining and building SaaS applications, cloud computing, and high-volume enterprise commerce solutions. Prior to his current role, he ran the technology and hosting operations organizations at Ariba. He also held the product leadership responsibility for the Ariba Network – from its very early phase until today – as the Ariba Network grew to be the largest business commerce network in the world.
Prior to joining Ariba, Mr. Mondkar held technology leadership positions at Altoweb, an application server infrastructure startup, and at Verizon, Inc., building enterprise OSS systems. He has a master's degree in computer science from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune, India.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer - Matthew Zack

Matthew Zack is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ariba, an SAP Company. In this capacity, Mr. Zack serves as the principal financial liaison with SAP AG, developing and executing Ariba's financial planning and corporate strategy; directing accounting operations; overseeing mergers and acquisitions; and leading the procurement, real estate, and information technology organizations. Additionally, Mr. Zack has responsibility for Ariba's global human resources function, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, and compensation and compliance.
Before joining Ariba, Mr. Zack was responsible for corporate development at FreeMarkets, Inc., a publicly traded supply management services and software company. Prior to FreeMarkets, Mr. Zack served in various consulting roles at Accenture. During this time, he led several supply chain design and implementation initiatives with diversified manufacturing clients.
Mr. Zack holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
