Ariba was founded in 1996 in Menlo Park, California with a mission to build a solution to help companies manage their spend.
After almost two decades, Ariba launched a new brand identity in 2016 after being acquired by SAP in 2012. And from there, SAP Ariba was created.
Creating a unified brand name with SAP allows us to feature the value Ariba brings to both buyers and sellers while leveraging the recognition of SAP as the market leader in enterprise application software, helping organizations of all sizes work more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. Together, SAP Ariba is helping the world run better and improve people’s lives.
In addition to bringing the SAP name into our identity, we also created a new logo that is representative of our purpose and promise to our customers. Our logo now includes two images which represent the buyer and seller, reflecting our focus on the shared value we bring to both. The subtle intersection of the images show the connection point created through Ariba Network. With Ariba, we allow for relationships to be built between buyers and suppliers so they can work together and drive value into each transaction and their entire relationship. Our new logo for SAP Ariba embodies this commitment.
