How digital procurement fuels efficiencies in a customer’s supply chain

Sasol is a global integrated chemicals and energy company that sources, produces, and markets a range of high-value product streams in 31 countries. With 15 business units running different procurement processes and using different systems, Sasol had disparate master data and lacked end-to-end visibility in their supply chain.

By standardizing their procure-to-pay processes, Sasol was able to increase efficiency and visibility. Together with SAP Ariba, Sasol automated manual processes that drove improved efficiencies in reducing costs on accounts payables side by 50% and ensuring 95% of suppliers get paid on time, using electronic invoicing.
